My family has been coming to Holden Beach for as long as I can remember. Many good childhood memories are here – fishing in the waterway with my grandpa and dad, going crabbing in the marsh, many putt-putt rounds and cones of ice cream, too.






Here are a few shots I took of one of my buddies while we were mountain biking at the trails off of Poplar Tent Road in Concord, North Carolina.

It is that time of year, and since today was beautiful, my wife and I got around to planting our garden.

On Saturday, April 23rd, the Refuge sponsored the Greater Piedmont Egg Drop at A.L. Brown Memorial Stadium. Over 13,000 people showed up, with 6,000 children hunting about 35,000 eggs.
